As once again, we have no beginner hula students, we will start class at 10 a.m. and run until 11:30 a.m. for the balance of the session. Please note that there will be no class on December 4th and we will finish this session the week following (December 11th).
Welcome to Caroline, who is joined us last week as we were getting ready for the Pineapple Classic show. We will be starting a new hula in this session, but we'll revisit "To Make You Love Me, Ku'uipo" again. Hilda Lehua, I hope you are well and will rejoin us soon!
Please bring your copies of "E Ho Mai" the oli we will be learning. Aunty Lei will be at class with us tomorrow, so we can work on it together.
We will be reviewing footwork tomorrow and (attempting!) an entire warm-up with no stops. That's a challenge for both ho'opa'a (chanters) and 'olapa (dancers)!
